Lately I have been on a real smoothie kick. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the craving always seems to hit at some point during the day. I usually take a nice leisurely bike ride down the boardwalk to my local juicer friends over at Porrovita, but I decided to get creative whilst roaming the aisles at my friendly neighbor Sprouts. This is a little concoction I like to call The SSB. . .well to be honest, I just call it a smoothie, but for you birds I came up with The SSB. . .& I think it’s pretty badass. This strawberry, spinach, banana masterpiece is simple to create & you can grab all your ingredients at any supermarket. I used my Rocket Blender to make this little guy. Happy drinking darlings!

First things first, it’s packed with vitamins such as Vitamin B, C, & E. It can boost your energy! Uhm, yes please, sign me up. Many athletes take maca for better performance, but if you need extra help after a workout maca could be just the trick. It keeps your bones, teeth, & skin healthy. Some people are known for taking maca to help with acne, blemishes, and decrease skin sensitivity. Lastly, as if you needed another reason to add this superfood into your daily smoothie, it provides mood balance. If you feel overwhelmed with anxiety, stress, depression, or mood swings maca could presumably help! With summer in our rearview & school + work staring us straight in the face, we could all use a little bit of maca.Processed with VSCOcam with k2 presetJust simply here to tell you that if you haven’t tried the chocolate coconut water from Zico, you’re missing out in life. Get it together!
