Sometimes it can be really fun to just grab your blender, open your fridge, and start grabbing from top to bottom. Other times we all like to feel much more put together in life, and already have a recipe in mind. This is that time. Let me help you “adult” a little bit better. Side-note. . .I was once told that “adult // adulting” is such a solid verb, and I would have to agree with that human. My girlfriends, and myself use it on the daily.
Moving onto the adulting part of this blog post, & the actual creating of the smoothie bowl. Mmmm, yummy! Adding a little avo to my smoothies has been life changing (insert *woot woot* emoji hands). Mainly because I love avo on everythinggggg. Avo on eggs, avo on toast, avo on salads, avo on pizza, avo on ice cream. . .just kidding, but just on that last one. Speaking of avo, guacamole may be the best manmade creation ever. . .EVER. Here is a little mixture I created & fell in deep smoothie love with (its a thing).smoothie things //
1 frozen banana
1 cup of organic spinach
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon of maca powder (not photo’d)
** throw it all together + blend **In case you were wondering, this is the #glutenfree granola I drizzled on the top of my bowl. It’s amaze-balls. . .I don’t know if that word is the most appropriate to use in this case, but it’s the first one that came to my mind. I eat this stuff by itself sometimes because it is THAT GOOD. Hey, no judgement! I buy mine at Sprouts, but I’m sure its available at Whole Foods if you wanna be all fancy.Bon Appétit!!
