Love a Good Romp

Processed with VSCOcam with p5 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with p5 presetYo, summer, take a hike. I swore I wouldn’t be the person to complain about the warm weather that makes my cheeks all rosy & beautiful sunshine & I am here to tell you that this is not me becoming that person because I AM here to complain about the bajillion degree weather & a sweltering, roasting, yellow round ball in the sky that used to be a friend of mine. When it is 90 degrees at 9AM in Newport Beach California & AC is not an option, you get more than enough wiggle room to start complaining about it. Processed with VSCOcam with p5 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with p5 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with p5 presetSo this is me making ends meet with this endless summer. Bree & I were lucky enough to be able to collaborate with the babes over at Windsor not once, but twice. If you can’t tell already I am a little romper obsessed. . .I just love a good romp + playsuit, whichever you prefer. I was drawn to the pattern of this one & thought that it would be the perfect playsuit to transition from summer to fall. . .well this is when I thought there would actually be a fall, #fallfail. Its cutesy, but also has a hint of sexy with a tie front closure, & an open back. In the end, I adore it really. I fall-i-fide it with adding my most prize possession, my leather jacket, my favorite black hat, & some simple black boots.

One day when I was living in Los Angeles my sister called me up & invited me to a Clippers game. I of course could NOT turn her down, but I could however turn down everything in my closet & come to the conclusion that I had nothing to wear so I just had to go to Wasteland for a new vintage tee. . .go figure. As soon as I walked in there it was, perfectly placed first on the rack. Now, like I said before, I was going in for a vintage tee, not a vintage leather jacket that was normally priced at $800. . .go figure. . .again. After trying it on, taking photos, sending them to my sister, doing about a million turns in the mirror (I hope I’m not the only one who does this when buying something),  & chatting it up with the sales associate who then told me that he literally just put it out today, I closed my eyes & checked the price tag. $100.00 BIRDS, one hundo, compared to $800. . .needless to say it’s been mine ever since & it is one of the best purchases I have EVER made. The End.
