Hello again birdie babes! Here you go, as promised, part ll of our Coastal Cruisin’ list + Jacks Girls photoshoot.
We took a pit stop & left off in CDM (Corona Del Mar), so come & continue the adventure down PCH with us to our “must stop shops” in Laguna Beach California.
Laguna Beach eats ::
-The Beachcomber. Park your ride across the street, take a little walk down the pathway, underneath PCH, and you’ll be transported to a quaint little town. With an open beach, little shops, The Beachcomber is the place to go to have a yummy meal! Perfect for a birthday brunch on a beautiful sun-shining day! It literally feels like you’re on vacation. Go here. Just do it…. (insert nike swoosh)
-Ruby’s Diner. This location is right off PCH, on a hill, overlooking the beach & The Beachcomber town. On a perfect day, it’s a dream to sip on your favorite Ruby’s milkshake, burger . . . and would you like fries with that?
-Urth Cafe. For all you Southern California locals, we know you have heard of this little gem! The Laguna Beach location is rather new, but it is “cottage” themed & so freakin’ adorable. We obsess over their organic coffees + teas, gluten free bread, salads & sandwiches. I guess we could just say, we obsess over it all!
-Tortilla Republic. Um, yum. Such good fiesta vibes in this place. Bree had her birthday dinner here this year, and the staff was so kind accommodating our every needs. Look up pictures on yelp or their website because this place is decorated so amazing in the back room past the bar. They also have a lavender margarita. . . yes. . .you read that right. COUNT US IN!
-Skyloft. Rooftop restaurant, right next to Tommy Bahamas, with live music every day of the week. Every day is a different music genre. The rooftop view is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Perfect place to have dinner + drinks with jerl friends, or a romantic spot for you and your hunny.
-The Deck. How could you not love this place? Makenzie usually goes here every year for her birthday dinner with her family. This restaurant sits RIGHT on the water, with inside and outside seating. The food is TO-DIE-FOR, and if you want to do it right, order the bacon grilled cheese with tomato soup on the side. BOMB.COM.
-Active Culture. Whenever we are in Laguna & can’t get over to our Porrovita boys, this is where we always go for fresh acai bowls, smoothies, & yummy healthy frozen yogurt. We grab it to go, and head down to the beach!
-The Shop Laguna. The best little beach boutique we ever did see. This store is stocked with all the killer brands atm. We love stopping in and splurging on new bikinis! Whenever we visit, we KNOW we’re gonna buy something, so we mentally prepare. Stop in and say a little hello, and tell them Two Little Birds say hiieee.
-Splashes. The restaurant in the Surf & Sand Resort. Right on the water, with a private beach to lay out at afterwards. Another great place for birthday brunch, or heck, just BRUNCH! But. . .they do give you a mini creme brulee for your birthday & it is the yummiest.
-Coyote Grill. Little mexican joint right off of PCH. Its bright pink. You can’t miss it. The price point is perfection, along with the amount of yummy, greasy goodness you get with it. Bree loves their margs, and Makenzie can never say no to a Pacifico. Has a killer view over looking the ocean for miles, and miles. It’s a cool place to go to after a long beach day.
Laguna Beach, beach spots ::
-Eagle Rock. Completely hidden little gem, but oh-our-word it is gorgeous here. But seriously, we miss the turn every single time we go. Park on the opposite side of the beach and cross over to the magical little beach.
-The Montage. a.k.a. Hawaii ja’feel? This place is on another level of serene beauty. It honestly feels like you are on vacay on a tropical island. The water is incredibly blue, and palm trees & succlents surround your every pathway. It’s open to hotel guests, and the public (if you don’t make a scene). We sneak past the hotel section and hit the beach below to relax in mother natures pure beauty.
-Thousand Steps. Would you like your butt to casually burn on your walk down to a beach? How about on your walk back to the car? So there arn’t literally a thousand steps, but run up & down a few times, and it may start to feel like a million. We love coming here to get our workout on, or simply just enjoy one of the best beaches to watch surfer/skimmer boys frolic in the water. HOLLA.
