Shut the Kale Up || Kale Chips


Kale is kale’n it.

Okay, okay enough with the kale jokes. . .allow us to introduce to you our FAVORITE 10 minute snack that is packed with nutrients that will give you the energy your body needs. Kale Chips for the win everyone, your gut will thank you!

Why is kale so good for you? Lettuce tell you. . .

(okay, now we’re done with the veggie jokes)

-packed with vitamin K, C, B6, E, B2

-iron

-lots of fiber that aids in digestion

-omega- 3 fats (this helps fight arthritis, asthma and autoimmune disorders)

-protein

-zero fat. . .approved by Regina George

– helps lower cholesterol levels

-bonus points for calcium intake

:: R E C I P E ::

 

Ingredients

-Organic Kale

-Avocado Oil or Coconut Oil

-Salt to taste

-Turmeric

-Cayenne Pepper

-Optional Fresh Parmesan

 

Instructions

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees

-rip off medium pieces of kale from the stem

-gently massage avocado or coconut oil on kale (not too much oil)

-lightly add salt, cayenne pepper, and turmeric (we suggest sprinkling it in your hand first. . .the kale absorbs all flavors so don’t sprinkle too much!)

-bake for 10 minutes, or until a few edges are browned

-throw kale in a bowl and sprinkle parmesan cheese, then serve to all your friends!

 

This is the perfect snack or side dish!
