two little birds wander west
Bree Eissman (pronounced like Ice-man). You may have known me from my Bree Randall days…well, ya girl is a married woman now and madly in love with her college sweetheart, Brock Eissman. Brock is an answer to prayer and I’m the luckiest to be his bride.
I could write out my entire life story but I’ll just give you the SparkNotes version – I grew up in Southern California raised by a tough as steel ironworker dad and a real-life Jesus-loving barbie doll mama. I grew up with my 2 best friends- my baby brother Branden and older sister-cousin Erica. To me, family is everything. I had a front-row seat to what it meant to be an entrepreneur; my parents ran their steel business out of our home for most of my early childhood and I experienced first hand what it meant to have grit while providing for a family. I guess that’s why I went the non-traditional route after college and decided to give it a try at being a boss and starting my own clothing line after previously running a division on my own. Flash forward a few years later, my story took an unexpected turn and I decided to pursue a life of health and balance while focusing on my family…this led me to leave the fashion industry as a whole and really focus on where God was calling me to go. Now, every day, I have the honor of helping people find easier ways of living a healthier lifestyle through my Arbonne business while also helping Brock launch his sports psychology business. My life mission is to live out my days honoring God and using the gifts he’s graciously given me to honor him in all that I do.
Now for some fun random facts – I absolutely love Mexican food & eat it nearly every day, cooking is my love language and therapy all in one, I am obsessed with traveling outdoors with Brock and going on unplanned adventures, yellow and green are my favorite colors (hence our wedding), I really care about using sustainable products because waste hurts my heart (my grandma really drilled that in at a young age for me), the beach is where I run to enjoy Gods creation and truly unplug, I’m addicted to podcasts and audiobooks, I genuinely love driving far places alone with my own thoughts, I’m very loud and outgoing but after long periods of being an extrovert… I need a few days to recoup and binge on Fixer Upper.
Makenzie, but you can call me Kenny- if you asked someone to describe me in one word, 8 out of 10 times they would say LOUD and they would be absolutely right. I’m a little dramatic (some would say a lot, but I digress), 50% dutch, and still 100% wishing I was an Olsen twin. My day job consists of social media managing, and moving my body is not a once in a while thing, but an everyday thing. When Elle Woods said, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t”, I felt that in my soul. Speaking of husbands, I’m almost about to have one of those! Current relationship status: engaged to be married to my Jesus-mate, Austin. Current feelings about almost being married: STOKED.
At the end of the day I’m just a girl . . . “standing in front of a boy asking him to love her”. I’m sorry, IT WAS RIGHT THERE, I had to. I still quote movies like a second language, in case you were wondering. But really, I’m just a girl trying to live out her one purpose here on God’s green earth- to give glory, honor, and praise to my Savior, Jesus Christ. Without His unfailing grace and mercy on my life and choosing me as His own, I truly would be so lost wandering aimlessly about. He gives me life. He gives me purpose, and I never want to stop telling people just that.
our growing flock, meet the boys behind the birds. . .
